About

A group of gamers who had been gaming together for 25 years with anywhere from 3-11 members were the first to officially celebrate Game Group Appreciation Day on the first Thursday in November, 2016. This website was established June 2018.

GGAD is about showing appreciation. GGAD hopes others will join in. Like other fantastic modern holidays — PI Day, Star Wars Day, Free Comic Book Day, International Tabletop Day — this could be a thing, right?!

To get serious for a moment, there is some science behind the importance of social circles that support healthy behaviors for increasing longevity. A gaming group can do that.

GGAD promotes a new holiday. For fun. GGAD accepts trades, gifts, and mutual admiration. Email gamegroupappreciationday at gmail.
